Mare hue Ravan ko kya marte ho, Grow up !!!
I feel very sad seeing burning effigy of Ravana, how glad we are after Ravan-Dahan, as if we ourselves have killed our own Ravana's and become the purest of the soul. In today's world, if I observe relatively, I cannot agree Ravana being a bad-man, I repeat, I am speaking "relatively". He was the most scholar of his times, there was noone who can beat his knowledge, he has done such a hard tapasya, neither you nor any good-man can even think of doing it, let alone doing it. That was "Treta-Yug", that was "Ram-Rajya", everything there was ideal, and hence Ravana was the only bad-man (again relatively). I hope its now cleared what the great significance the word "relative" has.
There are many more tangible and non-tangible bad-men present in today's world (The Great Kal-Yug).
If you want to fight, you want to kill, yes come forward, lets kill religious-descrimination, caste-descrimination, illiteracy, quota, corruption, poverty and what not.
Today we have many worst-men (Ravan being only bad-man, again relative, isn't it !!!) - to name a few - Kulayam Singh, Aayagati, Aloo Fasad, Aede-Ghoda, Akaal Fakre, Aaj-Fakre, Shok Ingle, .... And the list goes on.
Time has come, Jaago, Jaago, Grow up, fight against these tangible and non-tangible bad-men, don't let them play with your sentiments, we have a long way to success in this world.

Traffic police - "To police traffic" or "To make money from innocent citizens"?
I always follow traffic rules and also make sure that if I am pillion riding or sitting in car, the driver should also follow traffic rules. Yesterday something happened to us which was not good -
We were in Jayanagar sunday evening, trying to look for a parking space, and we reached canara bank circle. We stopped there for the signal as it was RED, and then it turned GREEN, we started moving, with that slowly moving traffic we crossed the white line, it was still GREEN, we were turning left but due to other vehicles we got a little bit delayed(Noone follows lane discipline in bangalore, its a known fact), but it was still GREEN till we can see the signal. It must have happened that we turned left and signal must have turned RED and there were 2 police inspector standing with their motorcyle with blackberries, one came in front of our car, we stopped and they alleged that we have jumped signal, we should pay fine. We were shocked, as we knew that we haven't, it was GREEN, but there was no way to prove our innocence. I agree that it might be possible that the moment we would have turned left and singal were turned RED, but we were already ahead of line and almost turned left by then. How can you drive as well as look back to see what is the condition of signal now, not possible right?
We requested a lot that we didn't jump, we were already in the middle of road but they said "No arguments", pay fine for Rs. 100 and started typing in their blackberries.
Now the questions props up -
(1) What is the first responsibility of Traffic police ( that too 2 cops), To make sure that traffic is running smoothly, to check people stick to their lanes and do not obstruct other's ways and not cause any jam at the intersection or JUST SLAP FINES AT INNOCENT CITIZENS?
(2) Now, when a traffic cops alleges that one jumped signal, now what's the proof, what is the way we can prove our innocence?
(3) There has to some answer to this, otherwise its a joke on World's largest democracy. I would say Traffic Management should put cameras and cops should only fine when they can prove that one broke the signal.
The reason I am posting this blog is that I need suggestion in how should I do something about it so that it shouldn't happen with other innocent citizens. I am attaching here the receipt photo also so that if we can make this complaint reach upto the higher management, the culprit cops can be tracked by the place, time, number on the reciept, and others should stop catching innocent peoples.
(I blurred the Driver's name and Vehicle number in the photo to protect the identity of the person driving the car publicly.)

New TTMC@Jayanagar and Metro Reach-4
Here is the link which describes all the pros and cons, good and ugly part of the newly built TTMC@Jayanagar.
Jayanagar TTMC Report
After the TTMC meet, we took a MetroWalk on the reach-4 portion on RV road constructed by NCC. We spent a hour so at the metro site discussing and taking pictures.

Will we ever become developed nation in right perspective?
TOI dated 8th Sep 2009, page-11, "Medieval Justice, 50km From Delhi"
(Boycotts. Killings. Lynchings. All in the name of honour and kinship. That’s justice, khap style — and it flourishes in vast stretches of India’s hinterland. An hour’s drive from the capital is all it takes to go back a few centuries).
Other articles on the same TOI page-
'Only whores choose their partners'
Pesticide pills for 'wayward' girls
Khap panchayats seek legal claws
One can easily see that people are doing hell lot of injustice to human life in the back of so called Maryada. If this is Maryada, I wish it doesn't exist on earth, we are better without Maryada(so called Honor).
I question how come decision-makers of Panchayat are within so-called-maryada by killing innocent people, raping women in innocent families, punishing which is purely against the human rights.
Why Human Rights people can't see it?
Why Nation Commision of Women can't take any action against it?
Why Mayawati (so called Dalit's support) is not doing anything about it?
Why Police fears acting against Village Panchayat?
Everyone starting from the people facing the trauma to the police, state government, Central government, Human Rights Commision, NCW, everyone is questionable.
People Jaago, raise your voice against this? Those who are good at protesting, make non-voilent protests?
All these raises another question, will be ever developed from all perspective, this way, never, never !!!

Reforms needed, its high time
Last 3-4 days, helicopter, chopper, commandoes, satellite were the frequently used words as well as equipments.
All the effort by our officials and commandoes and police force is really appreciable while finding AP's CM YSR.
But somewhere I am not feeling very good at heart, even logically also to see a big gap in treatment to a VVIP and a lot of people caught in a natural calamity. I feel our system really needs a lot of reforms where a common-man should also get the same treatment. I have never seen or heard choppers, helicopters, commandoes going to flood affected areas and relocating people to safer areas, never, never seen that except politicians doing rounds and media reporters taking raw material for breaking-news. India a very good example of democracy, then why such a flaw in system? How RAJA become more important the whole PRAJA? And at the end whose money is this? Taxpayer's money, my money, your money, our money.
(I should mention specifically that I am not at all against whatever done as a part of search operation, I just suggested where else also we can do the same effort)
On a humorous note; I keep thinking after this incident, UP CMs should also roam in BELL helicopters, it will be beneficial for the whole country. Its good to be serious about it.
Update:
I am not alone, others are also echoing the similar sentiments. Read the Sobha De's column in Sunday Times of India:
Searching for clues: It happens only in India
Excerpt from her article -
Apart from anything else, four other lives were lost along with YSR's. Nobody has paid the slightest attention to the sorry plight of their families. Whose decision was it to take the doomed flight into hostile terrain in miserable weather? Do the loved ones of the pilots, group captain S K Bhatia, captain M S Reddy and the relatives of YSR's principal secretary S Subramanayam, plus his chief security officer A S C Wesley, have no right to question authorities, demand explanations? Or are their lives less valuable, somehow?
Watching the coverage across TV channels, it was distressing to note that the disaster was covered in such an insensitive and lop-sided manner. Granted, a VIP was killed and deserved extensive coverage - but to the exclusion of the others?
But going by the sms-es doing the rounds, here's one that needs to be addressed in the spirit of fair and free enquiry - "Billed as 'India's biggest ever search' 5,000 jawans, an ISRO remote-sensing aircraft, a Sukhoi, 14 search and rescue choppers, the forest department police, paramilitary forces, Chenchu tribal guides.... all mobilized within three short hours for a missing CM. Was the Central government sleeping during the 60 hours of Mumbai terror attacks on 26/11?"
Saach ka Saamna, anyone?

Kuch likhne ki tamanna hai, kuch karne ka irada hai, aur kuch kar dikhana hai !!!
When I was about to write, I just saw the last-posted date, its exactly 3 months, and I am writing after a so long.
After the last post, got busy with some personal engagements, then some profession engagements and then was not feeling to write from some time.
From last few weeks before, I am keeping myself active on RTI India forum and PRAJA, and following is the one post I have initiated with some noble intention.
Together, we can, we will reduce the traffic Jams in bangalore, Its possible.
Also, I have been replying to this post on the same praja.in about auto problem in bangalore -
Why autos? Its the autowalahs creating chaos and all wrongs
The idea to post these links here is to get some attention from a few likeminded folks and I really need some support/feedback/suggestion/help to go further in this direction.
Please leave your comment either on this post or praja.in about the things, we can follow it up from there.
To add, on a musical note, I am enjoying Kaminey songs these days, it has fantastic songs, specifically Gulzar's lyrics, its awesome, they are just far apart. "Jai Ho" Gulzar.
Kuch likhne ki tamanna hai, kuch karne ka irada hai, aur kuch kar dikhana hai !!!

Rightly said by Mr Narayan Murthy - "India not a country of doers"
I said so because I can very much link my inner soul to what he says anytime.
In his latest interview, I seem to be very much in agreement with his saying that "India not a country of doers".
Here I bring some excerpts from his latest sayings -
- "The Indian society is a society of ideas. It is a society that has revered talk. In this society, articulation is mistaken for accomplishment. We are quite satisfied with our voice, with our writings. This is not a society that is focussed on execution."
- "here in this culture, if you do anything with your hands, it is considered less honourable that anything to do with your brain."
- "In the coming year there will be some good and some not-so-good events, and you will face both these with equanimity. That is one message that our elders have to communicate to the youngsters: that bad times will pass; they will come from time to time, but they will pass.Bad times are the times when we have to show our hard work, our determination and our talent."
- "Secularism is not about forgetting who you are; secularism is about saying I will respect you for what you are and that we will take all decisions without considering what religion you belong to."
- "I am a Hindu, I am proud to be a Hindu, I do my pooja everyday, but the relationship between me and my God is a personal affair at home and it is not something I bring out into the public and I will not use religion as the basis for any decision-making or any discussion."
- "I am of the opinion that the primary objective of the government in a country like India is making sure that there is efficient delivery of basic services, like primary education, primary healthcare, nutrition, and shelter to the poor people. I don’t think corporations should expect the government to put money and help them out."
Really speaking, this person is above all of us, he has immense capability of executing things.

Shame on Bangaloreans - Keep it up
I voted for the first time yesterday, the polling booth was very much near to my house, I voted, then I went again with 3-4 more close friends, we searched their names in the electoral list and they also voted there. I waited outside till they came out, was feeling very happy looking at the people outside in the queue. All kinds of people coming out there to exercise their franchise, very well-dressed, not-so-well-dressed, rich, poor, middle-class, physically disabled, college going, elderly folks, youngsters, corporates, everyone. I was feeling very good that people are taking an active step towards the responsibility. I was feeling somewhere in my heart that if this time the voter turnout goes to 65-70%, it would be so great of Youths, but it actually felt me very sad and shameful when I got to know that only 50% people have casted their vote.
I am getting no words for those who were enjoying sitting/relaxing at their home, roaming or just ignoring. Today's young generation out of which those who belong to corporate crowd, all days sit in AC buildings, roam around in luxury AC cars, eat the best of food, and pay 30% of their hard-earned money in taxes. Isn't it their responsibility to be a part of formation of world's largest democracy and make sure that the money is wisely spent?
- I would like to ask all of them who visits pubs and bars, have they casted their vote? If not, if next time there are any attacks on pub, you have no right to protest or blame anyone for it, you yourself are responsible.
- I would like to ask all of them who sent chaddi as a part of pink-chaddi campaign, did they vote?
- I would like to ask all who want freedom expressing their love, did you vote?
- I would like to ask girls who want to wear jeans and noodle straps, did you vote?
- I would like to ask all who want a good nightlife in bangalore, did you vote?
- I would like to ask all who want no more bomb-blasts, did you vote?
- I would like to ask all who want good roads, good public transport, and uninterrupted electricity supply and water, did you vote?
- I would like to ask all who are victim of reservation/quota or those who are not legitimate benefit of reservation, did you vote?
I think, answer to most of the questions will again be "NO" 51 or more %.
Are government ne chutti bhi diya tha, kya kiya uska, kha gaye kya, kya haalat hai yaar !!!
No worries, probably its actually not at all your fault who didn't vote. I amy be just over-reacting because I cannot be habitual of all these non-governance, let the people be habitual of being in dirt and jungle-raj.
Happy jungle-raaj and dirt to all of you who didn't vote. Keep up the good work.
But I feel to reserve some space on my blog-post to say a word of Thanks to all who exercised their franchise. Things doesn't end here for you too here, there is much more to do, its a start for a better India, better surroudings, better us and better generations to come. You also have to act on behalf of for your good and dear friends who didnt' vote.
Anyways, I end up here itself with a little of happiness that I voted for the first time, I voted for a change.
JAI HIND.

Kabhi kabhi mere dil main khayal aata hai
- I wonder why Innovative multiplex charges more than PVR on friday matinee show, whereas the quality is not at all comparable.
- No wonder a day will come very soon, Prabhakaran will be contesting India's election and Vaiko will be campaigning for him.
- We have not yet been able to do significant about Kasab's case, and Pakistan would have created a million more Kasab's in the same time.
- Election commision should ban Shivsena and MNS from contesting Parliamentary elections, they are not eligible for National level stuff, they should be only confined to maharashtra state.
- Why eZone in Bangalore is so much popular when they even don't have enough stock if people want to buy even in current economic times. [My personal experience about eZone is always "out of stock"].
- Varun Gandhi ne bola jo bola, are hum bhav kyun de rahe hai usko?
- We cannot witness Kashmir problem solution or Ram-mandir issue resolved in whole of our lifetime, because these kind of things are the main reason of existence of politicians in the country.
- Income tax records cannot go online for a long-long time in future, because if it goes, how will Income tax people make money and how will corrupt officials will save more money.
kabhi kabhi mere dil main khayal aata hai,
aise hi chal raha hai, aur,
koi ummed bhi nahi kuch acha hone ki,
badalna hai kuch to khud ko badalna hoga,
yeh corrupt politians to boodhe ho chuke,
ya ho jayenge,
magar aane wale samay main aur aise logo ko badhne se rokna hoga...
Jai Hind.

The reality behind threat to Varun Gandhi or any such identity
1. Waste Indian public's (hard-earned taxpayer's) money for providing security thus hitting indian economy and development.
2. To protect these fundamentalists from any internal attack (like "A Wednesday" or "Roo-ba-roo from RDB").
Its time for reality-check, we have to stand-up, check ourselves, understand all these correctly and create a environment of harmony between all the Indians.
We need to educate people who might get deviated listening to all these people's non-sense, we have to educate them.
"To aware" and "To educate" - only solution.
Jai Hind.
Dharm ki jai ho,
Adharm ka naash ho,
Praanion main sadbhavna ho,

I knew it, yes I knew it, I was expecting this, and it did happen.
I have been waiting for this one, I knew this is going to happen, it didn't make me wait that long.
As soon as the news came out that Nirmala Venkatesh is being sacked, I told my friends that now just monitor her next steps, whomever she meets or joins, is the one from she got all khana-peena after mangalore pub attack. And the results is here, yes, she joined BJP. I didn't feel sad about it, as I was very much expecting this, media has made me sad but. There was a very small column in TOI this news is published. Media should have given broad coverage to this incident as they did when she came for reporting or when she gave her comments or when she was sacked. These kind of news if properly given coverage, gives the common-man (Janta) the correct image of people involved here.

Taking the right path first time - Muthalik to sue 'chaddi' activists
Pink chuddy pink chuddy.
Muthalik to sue 'chaddi' activists
For the first time he has taken the right path, yes the legal path.
He seems to stand apart from all of us especially the pink chaddi campaigners. If those folks really wanted to show their right of freedom, they should have done it differently in ways like –
- Sending those chuddies to government ministers and officials to show them that why the hell are they our representatives when our freedom itself is in danger
- Filing petitions in courts on behalf of all the victims of the pub attack.
- Sue Ram Sena for taking law into hands
- Sue Ram Sena and mutalik for take away individual’s right of freedom….
Or many more such things could have been done and I think this would have resulted into something effective and visible change.
With the approach they have taken, I didn’t see any common man getting benefited except getting publicity who are behind this liberal campaign, or the manufacturers of chuddies. It is highly possible that those might be behind this campaign.
And don’t make yourself fool by thinking that Mutalik called off V-day disruptions because of this campaign, not at all. I have a strong feel that there happened a treaty between the government and Mutalik not to create any kind of tensions on that day and later CM and HM can credit themselves as they have been doing in past issues.

Jab Jaago Tab Savera magar nahi Jaage to Ghana Andhera
Tamaso Ma Joytir Gamaya;
Mrityor Ma Amritam Gamaya;
Om Shantihi Shantihi Shantihi.
Means:
From the untruth, lead us to the Truth;
From darkness, lead us unto Light;
From death, lead us to Immortality;
Om peace, peace, peace.
I would like to ask each of you -
- Don't you feel bad when you pay one third of your hard-earned money to the government as taxes and you can't even get a safe and secure surrounding, let alone the comfort and luxury?
- Don't you feel helpless when RTO charges the maximum premium compared to anywhere in India but you don't have just-the-good roads to drive on?
- Don't you feel insecure and unsafe when religious places are attacked and minorities are being killed, burnt alive?
- Don't you feel sick of governance when these miscreants are out-of-range from law's so-called long hands?
- Don't you feel frustrated of same statements - "Law will take its own course" & "will not allow people to take law into their hands" and blah blah.
- Don't you still feel slave when you need permission for expressing love and enjoying life?
- Don't you feel cheated when promises are not fulfilled year after year, term after term when we have completed more than 60 years of our own democratic rule?
- Don't you feel enough of internal terrorist organizations like MNS, Ram Sene, Bajrang Dal, Durga Sena, Shiv Sena, SIMI and what not? We really need not bother about external threats, those are actually very minute in front of these.
- Don't you feel pestered of bribe and chai-paani in every government act?
- Don't you feel outcaste when politicians do caste based, region based, religion based vote policy?
- Don't you feel ashamed when we are still struggling with quota-factor, how can we progress towards developed nation?
- Don't you feel strange when prices once gone up don't come down inspite of inflation rate being 4 times low?
- Don't you feel wondering when we think all religion as one but still a lot of riots, blood bath and enmity between citizens?
- Don't you feel offended when people with criminal records, tainted background of murders and other heinous charges, contest elections and win also?
- Don't you feel like praising Americans when they seem to be deserving of developed nation?
- Don't you feel settling in America sometimes looking for a better lifestyle, atleast they don't differentiate humans?
- Don't you feel impossible to become a Developed nation and economically independent?
- Don't you feel securing the environment for the generations to come?
Don't you think, its time to act?
Don't you think, its time to take charge?
Don't you think, its time to understand the responsiblity?
Don't you think, its time to participate?
Don't you think, its time to take a step?
Don't you think, its time to do your bit of effort?
Don't you think, its time to come forward?
Don't you think, its time to get inspired?
Don't you think, its time to get motivated?
Don't you think, its time to revolt?
Don't you think, its time to start another revolution?
And,
Don't you think, its time to VOTE?
We have to vote, we have to show them that we are not going to tolerate any more, common man has the power to change the mandate if government is not citizen friendly. Lets take a first step, become a part of it, and things will move on slowly. Its not only about a good governance, its also about responsible opposition, so think and select your candidate and VOTE.
Please come forward, enroll yourself in the electoral list of your current constituency, take part in Indian Political League 2009 in coming March'09.
"Citizens can approach the Centres for enrolling names to the voters’ list, rectifying errors in the list and also seek electoral photo identity cards. The service will be provided within 10 days. The Centres will function till March 31, 2009. They will be open between 8 am and 12 noon, between 4 pm and 8 pm on all days except Mondays. On Sunday, they will be open between 10 am and 8 pm. "

Victorian Moods - Another reflex, Are these really gonna work?
I appreciate that a lot of people coming in support of "Pink Chaddi Campaign". But what's the end-result, yes think of it - what's the result? Will he feel himself seduced enough to undergo "soul-searching" and either "apologise and let live" or "go to himalayas"?
A lot of women coming forward to against our very recent "hero" Mr. Muthalik, but who is he? He is just a local "aaj ka goonda", that's all; The truth is that we, media, government and opposition have made him a HERO, yes HERO. He has achieved what he wanted to, he is committed to what he has thought or aimed of? But where are we? We are still reacting to what he has done, are jaago-re mere yaaron, its really time to get up and do something.
He did plan attack on the pub and molested women, right? But that's what he wanted to and he did that. He is a goonda and he was commited to his work. He is media hungry and doing all these to be famous and to benefit the political associates.
Read his story here - "How Media Made Muthalik"
The Real Question is - "Where is the government and what are they doing ?"
Why the people behind attack have not caught at the moment itself and when they are caught, why they were released on bail?
Why government is still just giving some innocent comments, why not a strict assurance to citizens ?
The point here I want to make is - If you really want to do some Gandhigiri kind of stuff sending chuddies, please do that, but deliever it to our loving Chief Minister BSY and Home-minister Acharya. Ask them if they can't handle "state and home", send them chakla-belan too and advise them to be at home in these pink chuddies and make roties for the whole nation.
Mutalik is not a human being, he is actually more wilder than a "wild animal" deviating a little bit from an old-saying "Human-being is a social animal". What is the surity that if he doesn't do any much harm on V-day, he will not repeat goonda-gardi in coming days again? The fact of the matter is that we need to 'act' right, not react. We have to convey a message to the beloved Government that either do something or enjoy the last ever days of power. Communicate a strong message to YSR and Acharya that Enough is enough, first attack on churches, then attack on women, and now attack on freedom, We are not going to take it anymore.
General Elections 2009 are around the corner, go make your name listed in electoral list, make sure you vote, or atleast vote against those who cannot govern. Time has come and get up before its dawn again.

Slumdog! Yes slumdog!!! But what's next ?
In my opinion, yes the movie was great, the concept was nice and its a must watch. But then again, this doesn't deserve that much hype what it is getting. It has its flaws, lacks at some or the other points. Only thing which is far apart from our views, reviews and comments is the Rahman's music and Gulzar's lyrics.
A director came, casted some of the indian actors, some non-indians, the greatest composer and lyricist of the world, and made use of the slums and the indian poverty, a movie got produced, got a lot of awards and lot of nominations, but what's next ? The real question is "what's next ?"
Probably, foreigners are fond of Indian-slum and this might be the reason why it got so popular all over the world. Is this slum and poverty is going to remain like this for many others to explore more and more ideas and mint millions ?
I feel very bad when I see many news reporters are now going to slums and trying to capture the life of those and publishing it just for the sake of increasing clicks on their news-site or TRP of their news channels, but I ask them, what is the use, how are they going to benefited by doing this ? One example is this rediff link, I got from one of my friend's gtalk status-message "He gets paid only 10 paise per shoe". It would have been a lot better and beneficial if that correspondent would have done something for that family using the most powerful tool with him the so-called media. He could have given some information to its readers if any individual or any NGO would like to come for help.
Anyways, I have again only one thing to say, we as a Indian should understand our responsibility and should do something for our country in some or the other form.
For those, who have watched movies before it gets released, they are already acting against Indian Economy and helping Pakistan and Dubai based Piracy business to grow. But I guess that is the way how we are used to like the slums.

Prasoon, Rahman & Dafatan
The music is melodius, the lyrics is meaningful and all of a sudden I fell in love with the word "Daftan".
I really had no expectations from the other Chandani-chowk and it did fairly well with the expectations :-). But I am sure the forthcoming Chandani-chowk is defintely going to go far ahead of expectations.
Kya khoob farmaya hai -
Zarre zarre main usi ka noor hai
Zaankh khud main, na woh tujhse door hai
Ishq hai usse to sabse ishq kar
Ishq hai usse to sabse ishq kar
Is Ibadat ka yahi dastoor hai
Isme usme aur usme hai wohi
Isme usme aur usme hai wohi
Yaar mera har taraf bharpoor hai.
Another month to go before we witness this creation, keeping the fingers crossed, till then enjoy masakkali, genda phool and especially Dafatan...
