Billi raasta kat gayi, and then ???

From a real incident in my life ...

Morning as early as 05:30 AM.
Standing outside a guest-house, me with a friend,
Kolkata and taxi strike the same morning,
And, have a flight to bangalore to catch in sometime.
Started walking towards the main road,
In hope of getting taxi or some conveyence to reach airport.

And....
Kaali Billi raasta kaat gayi?
